Best proxies for Telegram: how to choose and test a connection
The right proxy is one that supports your connection method, stays available during the task and has clear rotation and traffic terms. Residential, mobile and datacenter labels describe the network source; none guarantees freedom from Telegram restrictions.
Compare the three types by the job

Network source and protocol are different choices. Confirm that the supplied protocol works with the intended tool. A proxy offered for one connection method should not be assumed to work with another simply because both mention Telegram.
Ask for a small test or short initial term when available. There is no defensible universal recommendation without checking the destination, workload, provider terms and your connection results.
Make account assignments traceable
A stable account-to-proxy assignment makes diagnosis easier: you can see which accounts share a failing resource. It does not establish an official Telegram rule that one IP must serve exactly one account, or that a dedicated address prevents restrictions.
Check connected-account counts in the proxy list and identify the tasks using each account. Avoid changing several variables at once. If a task fails, save the error before switching providers or rotating the address.
Check stability and rotation terms
Choose a location for practical connection needs and keep the setup understandable. Matching the phone number's country is not a published guarantee against restrictions. Ask whether a sticky period is guaranteed or best-effort and what happens when the underlying address disappears.
For long-running work, test reconnect behavior as well as initial availability. A low ping at one moment does not prove the next task will complete. Compare total cost, including traffic, renewal and any dedicated-session charge.
Add and test a proxy in five steps
- Open Proxies in DarkTelegram and select the add-proxy control.
- Choose the supplied protocol and enter the connection details. Supported input forms include
host:port:login:password; use the form appropriate to your provider. - Check the imported row, host, port and authentication details before assigning an account.
- Run a connection check and inspect the status and response time.
- Assign the proxy to the intended account and perform one relevant operation. Verify the account and destination permissions separately.

Telegram's error documentation distinguishes request limits from connection troubleshooting. Recheck the proxy before renewal and whenever a provider changes its terms.
